My First journal

This is my first journal, it will be a quite photo heavy post so be prepared! ;0) I joined a FREE Journalling Group called Strathmore Work shops If your just beginning Work shop 2 is the work shop for you. However, there are also two other work shops by Strathmore, not intended for beginners but more experienced journalists (use the same link as above and go to WS1 & WS3). Now workshop three starts in May so I will be having a go at this as well, the other WS have been and gone. However, you can still watch the videos and print off the work sheets, so I encourage you to have a go and don't forget to come back and tell me what you think. So any way I started a new journal to co inside with the second Work Shop. This is as far as I have got, but I will be adding much more from the May WS when it begins I hope you will join me and we can share together. So please enjoy the photo heavy post

A great way to save your first pages from getting too worn. Create some page steps.

And for collecting and collage etc create some pockets I have a few of these now.

My Double page on something I really love CAKE!

Here just experimenting with stencils, sprays & extended pages.

My Easter page.

I love material and sewing of all kinds.

I hope you like my new journal and that it gives you some ideas you may like to try, don't forget, the instructions are on the link above from Strathmore free work shops, have fun until next time. Oh and you can click on photos to enlarge and catch my attempts in detail ha ha. Love Dawn xx
